Matthew Wilson, a graduate of Dublin City University with an honours degree in Business Studies (2007), combines his business acumen with a strategic legal approach. After completing his legal training at the Law Society of Ireland, Matthew trained with Carvill Rickard & Company, Solicitors, in Raheny, Dublin. His expertise in managing complex commercial transactions led him to work as an in-house solicitor with AIB NAMA, handling high-value assets, distressed properties, and loan portfolios.

Matthew joined the firm in 2013 and is now a partner, bringing a wealth of litigation experience to the firm. He specialises in commercial disputes, real estate litigation, and personal injury claims. Matthew has successfully represented corporate and individual clients in high-value property disputes, contract breaches, probate cases, and complex personal injury matters.

PERSONAL INJURY

Matthew has a significant personal injury practice, specialising in Plaintiff claims.  He has handled claims at all levels, ranging from the Personal Injuries Assessment Board all the way up to the High Court.  He has advised Clients with all levels of injuries, up to and including catastrophic injuries. 

 

PROBATE

Matthew shares with Robert Taylor the bulk of the firm’s probate practice.  Matthew has extensive experience in all forms of estate administration, including probate litigation.  He has advised executors and beneficiaries on the optimal approach for administering estates to maximise value for the beneficiaries.

 

BANKING & COMMERCIAL LENDING

Matthew had extensive experience in banking and commercial lending.  He has worked extensively on behalf of Ulster Bank Ireland dac in relation to a whole range of commercial lending matters, commercial, industrial, agricultural and residential. 

 

Matthew also has extensive experience in commercial conveyancing, advising in relation to the purchase of hotels, industrial units and retail outlets.
